Competitive CSGO on Deleted Maps

We played a match of Competitive Counter-Strike on classic maps that were so bad Valve deleted them from the game! cs_assault de_aztec de_cobblestone de_dust2 and cs_militia. Why did Valve ban these maps, and are they any good?
