Tired of Bad Service

The plaintiff says he bought tires from the defendant, but they turned out to be rotted. He claims he’s lucky they didn’t cause an accident, so he’s suing for a refund. The defendant says the plaintiff brought his own tires into her shop to be mounted on his car, so she owes him nothing.
