The Ultimate DRAG CAR Hoarder Shows Off Historic Collection

What a cool collection! Tony McConnell has been drag racing for decades and he's spent most of that time collecting old school drag cars and vintage speed equipment. He actually bought a historic drag car from my dad and I a couple years ago, and he still has it (on the back burner). Many of his cars are functional race cars, and he was happy to fire them up for our viewing and listening pleasure. Along with the drag cars, he has some really great cars and parts stashed away in his shop. We also got to see his incredible vintage slot car collections, which has to be one of the largest in the world.

His collection of consists of a Ford ramp truck, a 1960's Ford Falcon drag car, an early Ford Thunderbird drag car, an Opel drag car with a ROWDYYY inline 6 cylinder, an Anglia (Prefect) with an inline 6 cylinder, an all fiberglass 1966 Ford Falcon, a historic 1950's front engine dragster, a 1960 Ford Fairlane MOONSHINE runner and drag car and more! Along with these crazy cars, he also had his friend's Mercury Turnpike Cruiser Indy 500 Pace Car on hand...a truly rare creation!
